Hey, guess who was dumb and paired two totally different dads to the same girl with absolutely no way of knowing who did the deed? THIS GIRL. As I say in the listing for the first sibling from this clutch, I have no idea whatsoever which dad won the race since all 19 babies between both clutches came out as wild types. Yay?
You know that kid in class who gets into absolutely everything, never sits still, and annoys the heck out of the teacher? Meet that in hognose form. This little creature is constantly on the move (see her last picture) and is here to make it everyone else's problem. You can't take your eyes off her for a second when she's on the loose! She was also picky as heck to get started. First she only wanted salmon. Then she didn't like salmon and only liked tuna. Now she's just fine taking whatever you put in front of her. Strange little beastie....
From an unrelated pos het Swiss and toffee belly (she produces nice big clutches but so far only ever wild types, FYI) to either:
A) 100% het acid rain (toffee, axanthic, sable)
OR
B) 100% het Swiss chocolate and colorblast line albino, pos het axanthic.
Temperament: I'll be real. Have your sani-wipes handy with this one. She's not huffy puffy, but if you startle her, musking is not out of the question. As of 9/16/26, I'd prefer she take a couple more meals before I ship her just to be totally sure she's broken of her penchant for flavored food, but if she speaks to you feel free to reach out about her!
Hatchlings will not ship until they have taken 8 - 10 meals without problems and are at minimum 8 - 10g. No babies are released until they are regularly taking consecutive unscented frozen thawed pinkies.
Payment must be made in full before I ship/deliver. Payment plans can be worked out on a case-by-case basis. Just talk to me, let's work something out!
***IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION***
I ship to (most) of the continental U.S. Mon - Wed via FedEx overnight express to the nearest shipping hub. Please note FedEx requires photo ID to pick up your animal. I do not export at this time. I can also arrange for local pickup in the Tampa Bay area.
While they are legal there now, I do not ship plains hognoses to Colorado due to the amount of work required on my end to get the required documentation to ship there. Unless you are willing to pay for the vet and my time/travel expense to get it done for you, sorry, at this time it's just not worth it for me.
I do not ship plains hognoses to Iowa without proof of a scientific or educational permit. It is illegal to own them in that state as they are listed as endangered in Iowa.
I do not ship plains hognoses to Illinois without proof of a permit. You must have a (free) permit to own them in the state of Illinois. You can select a hobbyist permit here but please note that you may not breed plains hognose snakes in the state unless you are a zoo or educational program!
I also do not ship plains hognoses to Missouri or Oklahoma without proof of permit.
