Extra Small Humid Hide

When raising teeny tiny baby hognose snakes, we found that there was a decided lack of matching teeny tiny baby humid hides to help keep them hydrated! The top is removeable to reveal a small chamber in the middle section where you can place sphagnum moss, a paper towel, a sponge, etc., to keep your little noodle, hoppy critter, sausage with legs, or wriggly worm, hydrated for a cleaner shed. We designed this EXTRA SMALL size hide specifically for hatchling hognoses (as that's our specialty here at Bluestone Exotics, LLC), but I could see this size working for equally small snake hatchlings (under 15g), micro geckos, dart frogs, etc. This hide will need to be upgraded for a snake at appx. 15g (or equivalent, depending on your species). Pair with our standard small hides to provide matching warm and cool side hides!
 
5cm x 6.5cm x 3.5cm / appx. 2" x 2.5" x 1.5". Comes with appropriately sized sponge, but can use paper towels, moss, or similar instead. One hide consists of three interlocking pieces (top/cover, middle piece to create humidity chamber, base).

This item is currently available in a small size we designed around our hatchling hognose snakes, but we are in the process of making larger versions to support bigger animals such as juvenile and adult hognoses, ball pythons, bearded dragons, etc. Due to our current printing schedule it takes appx. 4 - 7 business days to produce our products on demand. If you would like a different style, color, size, or material, please reach out to me for a custom order (which may take longer and cost more depending on my printer and material availability, and my husband's available brain cells to devote to the design).
 
We make these in-house at Bluestone Exotics, LLC, and we only have one 3D printer at present, so it might take a few days to get it printed, packed, and safely shipped! Your patience is appreciated. Also please note, 3D printing may be precise, but current technology makes some small imperfections unavoidable. We do our best to make a quality item but as you can see in the photos, layer lines and such are just part of the printing process, as these are not formed from flawless molds, but rather, are printed individually in layers.
 
Made from high quality PETG filament. While this filament is inherently water resistant, when used for a humid hide, we recommend cleaning regularly to avoid the growth of bacteria and to keep your pet healthy and happy!
 
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Sponge can be disinfected by thoroughly soaking in water and then microwaving on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
Hide is top rack dishwasher safe in normal washing mode. 
When hand-washing, avoid using scouring pads or other rough material to scrub.
Designed to withstand heat up to 158F/70C degrees, but please note color may fade if placed directly under UVB lamp. Darker colors will last longer than lighter colors in these conditions.
