Conda 66% Het True Hypo & Pistachio 50% Het Leucistic
For Sale: Western Hognose / Plains Hognose Snake (Heterodon Nascicus)
This little man will steal your heart! I have suspicions he is a low expression true hypo, and he does have some nice green edging to his saddles (see last pic), but until he gets in a few more sheds I can't quite be sure, so initially listing him as just hets. If you're unfamiliar with either true hypo or pistachio feel free to message me and I'll happily chat your ear off about the project. He's a beautiful little guy with great potential, I just have too many males in this clutch to keep them all and sadly he was the lowest expression of them all.
From an unrelated het leucistic, true hypo & pistachio (JMG) to a true hypo & pistachio superconda (Exotic Fire Hogs).
Temperament: This is a spicy little man. He's very good at doing a heckin' cober and will noodle off at the first sign of danger. Rarely sits still. Excellent appetite but depending on his mood, might boop his food a few times before recognizing it's time to eat.
Hatchlings will not ship until they have taken 8 - 10 meals without problems and are at minimum 8 - 10g. No babies are released until they are regularly taking consecutive unscented frozen thawed pinkies.

***IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION***
I ship to (most) of the continental U.S. Mon - Wed via FedEx overnight express to the nearest shipping hub. Please note FedEx requires photo ID to pick up your animal. I do not export at this time. I can also arrange for local pickup in the Tampa Bay area.
While they are legal there now, I do not ship plains hognoses to Colorado due to the amount of work required on my end to get the required documentation to ship there. Unless you are willing to pay for the vet and my time/travel expense to get it done for you, sorry, at this time it's just not worth it for me.
I do not ship plains hognoses to Iowa without proof of a scientific or educational permit. It is illegal to own them in that state as they are listed as endangered in Iowa.
I do not ship plains hognoses to Illinois without proof of a permit. You must have a (free) permit to own them in the state of Illinois. You can select a hobbyist permit here but please note that you may not breed plains hognose snakes in the state unless you are a zoo or educational program!
I also do not ship plains hognoses to Missouri or Oklahoma without proof of permit.
